What is Hyaluronic Acid and how does it work?

UTH Dermal Fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid. You may not realise but hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and is made in very small quantities. Hyaluronic Acid benefits the body in 4 key ways:

HA is hydrophilic, which means it attracts up to 1000 times its weight in water, so it really hydrates the skin. Think of HA as your body’s very own moisturiser

HA improves volume. UTH Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers are injected into the dermis and the subcutaneous layer to increase volume, correct lines and wrinkles, and improve your skin, making it smoother and more youthful.

HA stimulates the fibroblasts in the dermis to produce collagen for more youthful and radiant skin.

HA is an antioxidant, which means that it removes hazardous free radicals created by UV light.
